We develop the Beneficial Ownership module as per described in the Beneficial Ownership Framework document provided by SSM on its website. We suggest you read the document here before you commit to the BO reporting process on Officio.

In this module, Officio will capture the correspondence between you and your client pertaining to the exchange of information on Beneficial Owner. It is imperative for you to keep the reply and the notice you generated and sent to your client for BO confirmation in this module.

Steps to Follow

1) Create the Beneficial Ownership Record

2) Generate the Director Resolution to kickstart the process of collecting BO information from Legal Owner.

3) Generate notice by invoking Section 56 and send to Legal Owners

4) Adding/Updating the Beneficial Ownership information from Legal Owner

5) Confirming the Beneficial Ownership

6) Update the Beneficial Ownership Register
